Scratch The Cat is an exciting and versatile 8 piece band catering for most styles; particularly dance orientated music such as funk/disco (although its repertoire extends to anything that will enthuse an audience). The band has an excellent reputation as a unit that communicates personality to the audience and is very proactive in encouraging crowd participation. Comprising drums, keyboards, guitar, bass, sax, trumpet and two female vocalists, the band is ideal for weddings, functions and corporate events where a classy act is required.
The band provides upbeat, audience oriented dance music with 3 part vocal harmony and a sparkling brass section. It specialises in weddings, functions and corporate occasions where the music is tailored to the occasion. The band provided its own lighting rig and recorded dance music before, between and after the live sets if needed. First dances at weddings can be played live provided notification of the song is received in good time.
A suitable changing room or enclosed area with power would be useful and soft drinks or light snacks if available.
